Select workplane (by Zaax)
Please see: http://imgur.com/2FcEHOS

I am super beginner.
I cant figure out how to choose a workplane.
I try to tell it too, but it wont.

What I want to do, is copy this trapezoid, and build like a picture frame.

But it wont let me copy unless its part of a workplane. But when I try to click on in-workplane, I get that error msg.

So, how do I select one?

thx

You cannot copy and paste solids; copy and paste only works on 2d entities (points, lines, etc), which must lie in a workplane.

You can achieve what you want by making an assembly; saving this extruded trapezoid in a file, creating a new file and then using New Group -> Link / Assemble four times, and constraining them to stay together.
